Set up the widget in OBS

  1. 1.

In the dashboard, open Settings > Live Stream. Under OBS Widget URL, click Copy.

  2. 2.

In OBS, select your live scene. Under Sources, click + and choose Browser.

  3. 3.

Paste the URL in the URL field.

  4. 4.

Set Width 1920 and Height 1080. Click OK.

  5. 5.

Keep the Drawgg source above the other sources in the scene. This way the drawings stay in front of the game and the camera.

  6. 6.

Go back to the dashboard. The top of the screen should show Widget connected.

The widget does not connect

  • Check that the URL in the OBS source is the same as the URL in the dashboard, from start to end.

  • If you clicked Generate new URL in the dashboard, replace the URL in OBS. The old URL stops working.

  • In the source properties, click Refresh cache of current page.

  • If nothing works, open a ticket in the Widget and OBS category.

The URL is personal

The widget URL has a personal token in the k parameter. Anyone with the URL can open your widget outside your OBS. Do not show the URL on stream and do not send it to other people.

If the URL leaks, click Generate new URL in Settings > Live Stream and replace it in OBS. See The widget URL leaked.

QR code on stream

In Settings > Widget settings, turn on Show QR Code. The widget shows a QR code that opens drawgg.com/your-slug. You set the display interval and duration, in seconds, or keep the QR code always visible.
